The Westin on M St. was the second hotel I ever received on Priceline. $75 over Thanksgiving one year. One of my most memorable hotel experiences. They told me that when that hotel was built (under a different name) it was the most expensive hotel p.s.f. ever constructed in the city. I loved the bathroom with the separate shower and tub, and the Westin amenities back then were awesome. Wish I still had some of that shampoo.
The Westin in Georgetown was originally The Regent, but only for a year, from 1984-1985. It was independent from 1985-1995 as The Grand, it's been a Westin since 1995:
