Pretty sure I am safe, but there was some odd wording on Avianca's web page.

Citi's $95 annual fee is coming up, and I don't use the card, so transferring ThankYou points to Avianca seemed like the best solution before CXing the card

But something that I saw and cannot find now about being careful when points expire .... I should have a year to use the points, possibly extending by a purchase of a flight and not have to worry about some arbitrary expiration, right?

And yes, I should have thought of this about two weeks ago before the transfer bonus expired
