thank you so much! I could not agree more. We already have our Covid test from a trusted partner scheduled within the 72 hour window of our schedule flight departure. Both my wife and I are in healthcare and take the sequel seriously so I really appreciate your comments!! I decided this morning after posting us to change our reservation from the Ritz Carlton a Kapalua to the Andaz in Wailea. I just have a better vibe that will have better weather down there! Don’t know much about this resort but it looks gorgeous. I will let everyone know.

The info has been blasted on these forums for months now, but figure out the timelines for your flights and then match it up with when you need to take your tests and be within the 72 hour period in order to update your results for the state.
In short, plan your trip, but take as seriously the State of Hawaii and County of Maui COVID testing guidelines as people have been denied entry and literally turned right around at the airport there in OGG... The locals are not messing around and you will definitely get called out even for not wearing a mask. The resorts might be a bit more lax while on their grounds, but once you venture out its a whole new ball game. Ill be in both Kaanapali and Kihei this coming April/May and already lining up my tests, web accounts with state of hawaii, and downloading the Maui health App, so that there is no unhappiness upon touchdown.
