Got in at 3:30PM on Saturday and arrived to closed EA/ES Aisles with a sign to make the short walk across to Alamo. Waited in a very short line on the Alamo side and was given the option to take an upgrade to an Expedition/Yukon/Suburban, or wait about 20 minutes for something smaller. Took the upgrade and ended up with a brand new Yukon SLT with 350 miles on the clock. Super pleasant experience.
Guess I better book a backup for my next trip here. I REFUSE to ever deal with Alamo again. (In 30 years of almost weekly travel I said NEVER AGAIN once and made it stick... ALAMO!) Yes, I know they are owned by the same company but I had to accept that. I don't have to accept actually renting from them. LOL
