I'm anticipating lower than normal travel in 2022 which may prevent me from qualifying for Plat. Was originally hoping to get Titanium this year and hope for soft landing for 2023.
Because everybody's status was extended for 2021, there won't be any data points about soft landings. But last year they were promised by the lurkers then not delivered.
I wouldn't be so quick to assume that 2022 won't have more of these double elite night promos or complimentary elite nights. COVID isn't going anywhere for a long while and business travel isn't going to instantly return to normal, even if the majority are vaccinated.
