Dealing with this now. I returned a car to Fort Lauderdale airport Monday. No one was around and I typically just leave the car with no problem. I noticed I did not receive receipt as of today (Thursday). When I called customer service, they said they still show the rental as open. They said they will send a request to close it, but might take 3-5 days. I’m a little worried.
