I’m an Ambassador Elite, and during my last stay in July 2019, I was upgraded to a junior suite which required some haggling despite low occupancy. Frankly I was and remain surprised to see
saint upgraded to a specialty suite at this property...
I’m with
escape4 - the hotel has too many issues between its bad AC, bad food and very bad service [aside from the front desk] and it’s just not worth it, even if the price is low.
The Hyatt’s biggest demerit is it being on the other side of the river and away from everything, but it’s easy to cab around Belgrade or even walk if you’re so inclined. It may not be fully Hyatt-participating, but the SLH-affiliated Saint Ten is an amazing little hotel - I moved there after the Metropol and didn’t look back. Upgraded to a junior suite with a balcony, and found the fittings high-quality, the staff great and the food good. Location is excellent too just off Trg Slavija and walking distance from just about everything from Svetog Save, Stari Grad and the new stuff at the Waterfront development. One to consider for sure.
