Quick reportback. Midweek the property is a ghost town but the town of Carlsbad is showing signs of real life with outdoor dining and people and about.

Family pool is open and the waterslide is fun. The fully enclosed slide is plenty fast and dark. I squeeled like a little kid going down.



The all day restaurant Ponto Lago has also opened for outdoor dining on the terrace and is just serving breakfast. Outdoor seating is limited and I can see why others had to wait to dine during higher occupancy. The food was delicious. They churros were sick.
