You can get a bassinet in business! It's in some of the seats that have windows, but which aren't right up against the window. They kind of attach it to the wall on the window side of the seat. My baby slept for about 6 hours on a flight the same age - it was much quieter than in economy and nobody was walking past him and disturbing him.
If you really do want the two middle seats, then yes it's really easy to pass baby between you. The wall between the two seats raises and lowers with the click of a button. But on such a long flight, and with a baby that age, I would DEFINITELY go with a bassinet.
