so, finally brought into store, bought a new similar model last weekend's 20% off sale sale .... $360

the store took my old bag, sent it in - customer service instantly said not repairable , and to please write 'info @ tumi ' for next steps - I forwarded the repair report to info , a day later they offer me $190 credit - I agreed , and am now waiting on the gift card --- not clear if this is an eCredit , or if they are mailing me a physical card
