Six more years of mostly unnecessary 50 nights is an awful lot for lifetime status that isn't guaranteed and gives dubious benefits currently.
When you start actually traveling again, you can evaluate whether it's worthwhile to strive for (annual) Plat on a year by year basis. If it's still being honored, you might get lifetime Plat organically at a much later date. Just be sure that your account (years of status and total nights) and its points don't expire in the meantime.
Note that there's no real difference in the benefits you would receive for lifetime Plat versus annual Plat.
