I took one for the team at Domaine Madeleine. Don't. It was an odd experience. The stay was completely remote, with no interaction with anyone on staff. The owners have obviously put a great deal of thought into what you want to know about the place - or a great deal of thought into all they could do to avoid ever meeting their guests. We were sent a link to download information about the property. It has instructions on how to find it and what to do once there to gain access to the room. We were told repeatedly that the way to check in before 4pm is to pay; and to pay more if we wanted to check out after 10am. The place has five units. We chose the largest one in order to get the best water view. It is a very large room called the Hurricane Suite, about 500 sq ft, above the main room. The main room is where you go for any additional amenities including towels, ice, coffee pods, microwave popcorn, and more.
Our room was furnished with early marriage or Goodwill, however you like to think about those first years of your adult life. There was lots of comfortable furniture but no design theme. There was a 7 1/2 foot dark wood ceiling that felt oppressive. There was no food service. You could order boxes of food in advance, whether charcuterie or varied breakfast choices. I will not stay again and I do not recommend the property to you. It wasn't awful but it wasn't worthy of the price.
