Kudos to the BA Warrington team.

last night I called the US line to add the return keg to my 241 to PUJ. I called at 23:48. The call was answered and I cleared security by 23:50. I did not have to explain anything to the agent as he instantly asked “are you calling to add the return leg to your PUJ trip”. I was actually a little embarrassed that I’d called too early and offered to call back closer to midnight. The agent told me that it was ok as their SOP was to accept calls from 23:50. If I’d have got through any earlier then I would have been asked to call back. I had a good 9 minute chat with the agent, who explained that US calls are routed through to Warrington until 1am. About 30 seconds to midnight the agent stopped me and said that he was now going to clock watch. I could hear him click the refresh button at midnight followed by a joyful “we’ve got them” as he secured the seats. Really fantastic service.
