That reminds me of when they had self-serve beverage machines in ORD near the gates. Wasn't that part of Shuttle service or something along those lines? I think I was all of about 13 years old during that time, so forgive me for not remembering all the details. I'm pretty sure that I was going to DCA or IAD when I saw them though.

(I would have been mad at Dad for not having me sign up in Mileage Plus, but apparently all my flying was on award tickets bought with his miles back then so it wouldn't have mattered anyway. :-: )

Granted, this was self-service, but it beat paying $3 for a bottle of water or juice.
