TK has the same thing ( remote control for the screen via personal device ) for 2 years and I have yet to see someone using it.
People who are really concerned about the virus would most likely download content on their own personal device before the flight.

However, Bluetooth headphone connection to the IFE system seems like a smart and nice idea.
