The certificates are not transferable so the rooms have to be your name. Keep in mind that some properties will extend Glob benefits to occupants of multiple rooms reserved by the Glob member without the use of any certificate or GoH. This is beyond the T&Cs but I've had stays in the US and Europe where this was offered. I don't have any experience with Asian properties ...
Not true. My Concierge (who is amazing and has been with Hyatt for 20 years) has offered to apply certificates to other rooms in other names, so long as I am also staying on property at the same time. She also is a stickler for the rules, so I sincerely believe this is tolerated practice that any Concierge can do.
