I think GuWonder's comment is certainly 'constructive' and I agree wholeheartedly with GUWonder..... if AA dumps transatlantic services and relies on BA via codeshares, all I can say is they must be insane....

Unless you buy F or J tickets (which I don't) what possible benefit could all-BA-codeshares have for an AA flier?
