Has anyone had luck reserving a bassinet on a domestic flight on an aircraft equipped to handle them? My sister and her husband are flying SFO-JFK-SFO on the 789, returning on the 772. Agent on the phone was very nice and comped the upgrade to E+ so they would be in the proper seats but didn't seem to know how to actually reserve the bassinet. She didn't think it was possible for this route but admitted she really didn't know. Suggested we check at the airport. Any advice would be appreciated.

Worldwide Contact Center. We will provide accompanying seat assignments for an adult traveling with an infant and up to one travel companion. You can arrange these seat assignments with the United Customer Contact Center or with a United representative at the airport free of charge. Bassinet availability is limited, and these arrangements are not guaranteed, so we recommend requesting a bassinet early for your flight.
Appears bassinet advance reservation is only for International travel but give the above number a call and see what they advise
