I think with pretty much all programs where I have “skip the counter” benefits I had to show my drivers license and credit card at the counter the first time after signing up online. But who knows; covid might have made that more touch less. With the CSR you should decline the CDW type coverage that provides coverage for the rental car itself. But consider whether you need liability coverage for damage you cause to other people or property. If you have personal automobile insurance, that coverage may extend to the use of the rental car, it double check that.
