The CSR gives you status with National. That gives you access to the nicer cars on the lot. There is a thread in the car rental forum where people share which cars they’ve seen on their travels. If you just want to get right into your trip without the hassle of waiting at the counter, consider this option. I have used National at SEA and they’re pretty good, but then again you bypass most of the human interaction unless you’ve reserved a specific car class.
If you’re just looking to save money and you have a Costco membership, try this option. I’ve found their prices to be very good. Then combine that with the insurance from the CSR.
