Personally, I much prefer HR Monterey over HR Sonoma, both at Cat 4. If you read the reviews on the HR Sonoma thread, you won't find many favorable reviews.
Totally agree that HR Monterey is nicer (have stayed a few times already), but already have a trip planned there for later in the year.
I don’t like HR Sonoma that much either but it’s the only Hyatt reasonably near Marin, where we like to hike.
