On-board/lounge greetings for elites in Europe

Hello all,

I'm doing a research for my thesis regarding the loyalty programmes and cultural aspects of elite member appreciation. Therefore, I would like to collect specifically information on how different airlines approach greeting high-tier elite members while travelling. Both in the context of ground facilities, ie. fast track security at hub airports, as well as business/first class lounges and also on-board the aircraft in different class of travel.

I have heard that personalized greetings are common for HON Circle members travelling on M&M airlines, even when they are seated in the economy class, while Gold Star Alliance members may receive their meals before other passengers in any cabin class as well. I would appreciate if you could share any experiences with personalized greetings you have experienced to recognize your elite status membership, ie. if you were called by name, surname, what services or priorities have you received etc.

Thanks!
