The one you have landed in is specifically for Qatar Airways, if you want to redeem the Alaska miles, it is probably better to ask the questions in the Alaska forum, as they will know the ins and outs of getting value from the AS miles.
If you want to know about flying with Qatar Airways, this is the place to ask.
Since I am not located in the US, and hence don't have the luxury of the US credit card market flow of points, I don't really know where the best discussions for that is.
