I'm losing my mind from the snow and I'm looking for a good Marriott in Mexico to either, blow a bunch of points, or pay a nice cheap rate, on a weeklong stay. Having a hard time choosing a property...I'm cautious about covid and certainly don't want to be anywhere overcrowded or reckless, but obviously, not too cautious to fly to Mexico.

I'm looking for...
* Nice rooms, or wonderful common areas that are usable as a workspace – since I'll be working weekdays 9-5
* Good free platinum breakfasts
* Good hotel gym
* On a beach or a nice pool/outdoor surroundings would be great - although I'm even open to stylish places like the Design Hotel in Playa del Carmen which doesn't even have a pool I don't think (although - no free breakfast either so probably not that particular hotel)

I want to avoid:
* Dilapidated / dingy properties, anything that makes me wonder if this was worth the effort
* Places that have a lot of screaming kids (no offense)

Any recommendations?
