Given that FTV use-by dates are being extended to April 2023, I'm wondering if it's worth converting it to an FTV? Or whether I should wait to see if I get a further 6 month extension on the companion voucher.
I know it's quicker & easier to spend a companion voucher than an FTV (which requires a phone call - unless that's changed?) but can anyone see any other disadvantages of turning it into an FTV?
If it expires in Feb 2023, then see no benefit of restricting it to a FTV for the sake of a 2 month extension.
Mine was expiring in June and was waiting/anticipating this extension rather than restricting myself with a FTV - hopefully will get to use this one by December, but if not (and it hasn't been extended again by then) will just convert to FTV nearer the time.
