The AA* code on AS flights was maintained for certain flights to destinations in Alaska other than ANC. The AS* code on AA flights was maintained on certain flights east of ORD. This is still the case, since the two airlines have not launched their expanded codeshare.
The AA*/B6 restriction seemed to be new to me.
