We'd like to return to Anguilla next year and I'm leaning for the Malliouhana again but am always open for trying something new and we've never been to Cuisinart. It doesn't look amazing on the website, but wondering if anyone has personal experiences that explain why it seems less popular than the others, if indeed that is the case. .
I would not suggest the Cuisinart. I was in Anguilla a little over a year ago and stayed at multiple hotels/site inspections/dined.
It was my least favorite. The beach was rather narrow and unkept (if that can be a thing . The pool is well set back from the ocean and at the foot of one of the restaurants. The rooms were rather cold. I kept having this feeling that it had not been tended to. A real disappointment since I had always held it in high regard prior to traveling there. It's nothing more than a standard 4 star experience in my opinion. My favorites are Malliouhana and Cap Juluca. The strong points as you already know for Malliouhana (sunsets/infinity pool/private beach and access to Meads beach and multi restaurants. Cap Juluca is more beach centric in that you just spill out from your room to your chair/umbrella on one of the prettiest cresent beaches in the Caribbean. The decor is elegant and comfortable. My personal tastes leaned more toward Malliouhana but you both are great choices.
