Called on Friday to try to get the annual fee waived for my Radisson Rewards Premier. I have the Altitude Reserve, which I use a lot, and the Radisson card, which I haven't used in the past year. I told the usual sob story about not being able to use the benefits at Radisson hotels because of Covid, but they weren't having any of it. Finally, I got to a supervisor who agreed to a $25 statement credit. Enough to make me keep the card given the renewal points bonus. Radisson is a pretty bad program now. If you're confined to the US, as I am for the moment, the only redemptions that make much sense compared to other programs are at the lowest point Country Inns, and there aren't many of these. But I hope to be able to use some points overseas in the next year.
