Only Qsuite equipped aircraft have the ability to turn E and F seats in J into a 'double bed'. Other aircraft types and other seats in the Qsuite configuration doesn't allow for a 'double bed'.
seat 4D would still be open to Seat 3E and F at least that’s what OMAT says. I have only flown solo on that aircraft and always booked the K seats
