I agree Qatar does not rely on tourism but Qatar airways has been operating during Covid even when no one else was. Assuming your ticket was issued on AA stock (ETKT no. starting with 001), the fare class doesn't matter as only QR stock (157) has been impacted with lounge access and seat selection changes.
Only Qsuite equipped aircraft have the ability to turn E and F seats in J into a 'double bed'. Other aircraft types and other seats in the Qsuite configuration doesn't allow for a 'double bed'.
