I guess I like the "crapppy drugstore chocolates" because Russell Stover, Whitman's, Mars, and Hershey's products are the ones I get. It's rare now that I eat chocolate bars due to diabetes, but my favorite ones are now Skor, Heath, and Butterfingers. If I see a package of miniatures at a dollar store, I will pick up a bag. It's usually 6-8 pieces and will last me a few weeks. When it comes to Whitman's or Russell Stover (they are made by the same company), my wife and I like the nut ones over everything else. I miss my parents living near Ocala, FL because every visit to them would include a stop at their factory outlet where we good see/get very good deals. Alas, the craving for chocolate has waned and my mom moved down near me after my dad passed away in 2012, so no more visits for me now.
I wonder why Skor and Heath are made by the same company. It is basically the same type of bar.
Why the extra "p" in crappy?
