Greetings

I am scheduled to make a swing through OZ at the end of November and I thought I would take a look around at what was on the market instead of going to the consolidator I normally use. I found a US Z class fare in J out of LAX for $3424 usd. Interestingly the flights are code shares on UA, and the fare on the same flights on UA stock is $5446 usd.

Are these fares AP eligible?
If so does the COS bonus apply?
Are there any other gotchas to look out for??

I understand the non-refundable and charge for changes restrictions but is there anything else out there?

I'm not a big fan on UA J class over the Pacific but the fare is nearly $1500 usd less than the consolidator fares I get on NZ.

Any advice or cautions welcomed.
