The thing about supermarkets and Costco is that you are only in the same space as another person for a very short amount of time unlike restaurants. I didn't realize that you have indoor dining now too. Here we are still at only outdoor or takeout.
Masks also tend to be required at regular stores (depending on where one lives and the store), which helps too. Meanwhile, it's kinda hard to eat with a mask on.
