yowza. i knew citibank has been lightening their footprint but that's striking. when i worked there (a lifetime ago) we had outposts in at least 100 countries. i remember telling clients that i could get 'my man in morocco on the line for you' and we legit could get local experts in all kinds of stuff. Citi has always been more of a global bank. So while they have 700 US branches, they have 1800 outside the US -- which is more than Chase, BofA, and Wells, combined.
