Sent a friend a Chase Freedom Unlimited card referral link in early December. Friend used link, applied and received card. I received a Chase email on 12/30/2020 saying "Your bonus is on the way. You've earned $100 cash back. You'll see your bonus on your next monthly statement."

Bonus did not appear on my next monthly (January) statement.

I have checked my Ultimate Rewards dashboard for both of my Chase credit cards. Neither one shows a Refer-a-Friend bonus.

Called Chase and customer service rep said that she could only see Chase emails that said I could refer a friend for a bonus. She could not see any email sent where I did receive a bonus.

I wanted to send a Chase Secure Message with a screenshot of the email. However, it appears that Chase Secure Messages are not open for questions about Rewards. If you navigate the Chase SM system, when you choose Rewards Questions as a Topic, it just gives you a canned message about how to check for rewards. You are unable to send a SM.

What can I do now? How do I escalate this thing? Thanks in advance for any advice.
