I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Nashville recently and also visited the Thompson b/c only the Thompson had EV charging.

Grand Hyatt is a better hotel and is newer. Their breakfast was incredible and b/c they're new, they try really hard at service. Location is decent and you'll have to walk about 10 minutes to any of the tourist spots... although there is a giant Whole Foods one block away.

Thompson is in a better location as it's right in the middle of the Gulch. It's only 2-3 blocks away from the famous angel wings Instagram spot.
