Booked a stay at the Hyatt Regency Aruba this week and was surprised to find their WFH had only a five-day minimum and was the same as the cheapest rate available with a $50/day F&B credit and also 50% off cabana rentals which I might use for a day or two, no waived resort fee though, good thing I'm Globalist now to waive that, and I was able to apply a TSU to get a Family Suite.
In theory the WFH rate has a 5 night minimum now, but most properties seem to still be working under the initial terms that had a 7 night minimum. The rates that include a daily F&B credit can certainly offer great value if you’re going to be eating on property regularly. At some properties the “F&B” credit ends up just being a general credit too, which is pretty nice.
Out of respect for the properties, I'll keep it confidential, but I can say I've been offered significantly more attractive rates than the long stay rates available on Hyatt.com at four of the properties mentioned in this thread.
They may actually appreciate the free advertising and help getting their rooms filled!
