In my view, a lot depends on the second quarantine facility. 3 days at an airport hotel would be no fun, and $2,000 is a lot to pay. But what might clinch it for me is the possibility of having to spend another 11 days at an old Air Force base or something. This is what I'm still waiting to find out before deciding whether travel is a possibility. (I live in Canada but my family is in the US, so I like to keep a rough emergency plan in place.)
