Amex travel is about ~40 bucks cheaper than the identical price at Marriott's website for my preferred hotel (identical room and cancellation policies as far as I can tell). Can I use the best price guarantee at Marriott to match the price of Amex travel or will Marriott argue that Amex travel is a "paid" membership only since (I think) it can only be used by Amex members. Anyone know?
