It’s not the sites’ fault you don’t understand how cookies work... they even have to put a pop-up box explaining what they’re installing in your browser when you open their website. As KJ said, it’s about affiliate marketing and who gets the cookie, so to speak. It’s one of those occasions where consumers can really help themselves.
