I would recommend trying to get access to the lounge. In addition to breakfast and evening cocktails and food (6:00 to 8:00 p.m.), at other times there is also food! They always have a nut mix available, cake, and/or fruit. So, it's a nice place to hang out to get away from the crowds on the street. Closes at 10:00 p.m.
I was told any of the restaurants in the hotel, when charging to your room, will earn Gold Passport points.
Trivia: the nightclub in the basement (enter from outside the hotel) is off limits to Hyatt employees due to an incident awhile back where some employees partying at the night club got into an argument with some guests.
Btw, it isn't that expensive to pay for a junior suite at the regular rate (as low as $150US).
There is a 7/11 and Burger King as you exit the hotel to your right. That mall is a lot less crowded than all the other malls in the area, but a better place to change money is Lucky Plaza on Orchard Road.
