Schiphol has issued a warning: disruptions are expected tomorrow, Sunday, due to certain meteorological phenomena known as snow and wind.

Now we all know that back in the days when the airport was running at over 100% of capacity, a centimeter or two of snow would more than suffice to cause chaos and mayhem.

Given that traffic is currently only a small fraction of what it used to be, one would imagine that they would have enough resources to keep a runway or two sufficiently clear of snow to handle the few flights that are still operating.

Apparently not. Perhaps cutbacks have left them with two snowplows and one driver.

At least KLM hasn't announced dozens of cancelations yet.
