I know that there are people who thing that the FS YVR property is not up to FS standards. I agree that it's not in the same league as George V or 57th St in Manhattan. But overall it's a great hotel for the Vancouver market. The rooms are comfortable enough with tasteful furnishings. The restaurant Chartwell is very good. The health club facilities are adequate. And yes, even if hotels like the Pan Pacific or Westin have better hardware, it's the software, service, which sets the FS apart.
