Looking forward to being a very educated Hyatt guest (and future Globalist Hopefully ).

As of now I'm not planning to go anywhere this month based on being Globalist so its fine if I get there in March too.
From what I understand, say your Hyatt CC closes on the 20th of the month (2/20) and your Spend ($5k) is $4600 and your 1/20 statement closed with an even rounding of $5K so no excess.. So you wont earn any night credits since you didnt hit the $5K level. Then on 2/23 you charge $400, then when your statement closes on 3/20 a day or so after 2 night credits should post, a person may have to hit Hyatt to check with Chase that the 2 night credit should count towards the 30 nights since it was done during the promo period. Now making the $400 charge on 3/1 will still get you 2 night credits but it wont count towards the 30 night promo for Globalist since that ends on 2/28

every $5K will earn you 2 nights credit thru the year. But its only during 1/1 - 2/28 that it will count towards the 30 nights to be Globalist. So if a person ends up with say 24 nights total on 2/28 then they still can be Globalist if by stays and CC Spend they make up the other 36 nights to reach 60 nights the reg amount needed.

There is no earning 1 night credit its 2 or nothing, so spend $4999 you get 0. There are also bennies for hitting 40.50 & 60 nights, I think for most folks its not worth it especially with most places still closed to non-citizens. But may be worth it for someone say who plans on hitting Hawaii on numerous trips, but then again with Hyatt being flooded with more Globalists then ever and everyone chasing those same few Suites, it maybe good money going down the drain. There are only a few Upgradable suites at Grand Hyatt Kauai (there are tons of suites but not in the cert pool.)
