Nope only time this might be worth it is if you don’t have lounge access and would be at the airport early then it might have some worth but otherwise you’re giving up a seat with more leg room and paying £49 for a poor bit of food and if lucky 2 drinks
Don’t forget too, that lounges are also still alcohol free - so you might not even get a glass (or 3) of something nice in the lounge even if you did upgrade - depending on the date and restrictions at the time of travel.
