For those of us looking to reach Globalist prior to next travel dates, it does make a difference so it would be nice if there were some consistency and transparency to this.
I have a very easy time tracking that my points post correctly both from stays and credit card spend (base points as well as bonuses). But for some reason I'm finding it quite difficult to keep track that nights and bonus nights are posting accurately. Right now I have no idea if I'm missing nights from the double nights promo or from $5k cc spend or both. Its just very unclear to me.
Im lost, it s/b very simple and easy to workout. 1- if you didnt just get the CC thats 5 nights, then figure out how much you spent by adding up from your Jan and Feb statements how much you charged since 1/1 ( you can even look at your total 2020 spend and anything above $5k counts towards 2021 = say you spent $30,375 in 2020 then you only need $4625 for your 1st $5k and 2 nights in 2021. every $5k is 2 nights add that to the 5 from having the CC. Then count up the # of qualified nights you have stayed add 1 night for each night and on the side 1 night pending. eg Hyatt says you have 21 nights, you have 5 from CC 4 Spent $10K = 9 and stayed thus far 12 nights that means the bonus stay nights havent posted. If you stayed only 6 nights then the bonus nights posted since its 5+4+6+6=21
just remember the Chase Hyatt pts only post a day or 2 after your statement closesand if you check your activity nits clear as day if they posted in teh description area of the transaction
So as long as you know what you have stayed and spent its easy pesey to figure out what if anything is still due you
