). Sounds like a good deal, but your miles expire December 31 of the year after you earn points (could thus be after as little as 13 months). Also, they have quite a few fares that only earn 50% or 70%. Most fares on TG earn 100%.
What's burning miles on * awards like? i.e. how much for example from Japan to Europe? And how much are upgrades long-haul?

RT Japan-Europe or Japan- East cost USA goes for 120.000 miles in F with ability to change dates even after ticketing award flights
Upgrade business to F Japan Europe is 45.000 miles OW
economy to C is 30.000 miles
*A award tickets go for 120.000 miles in F for trips of 10.001 up to 14.000 miles
I have seen that TG requires 190.000 miles for a F award ticket BKK-Europe !
