Even during covid at hampton, there is a muffin or cereal bar in the grab and go bag.

Notice HGI on state and grand had been closed since last March, as well as HGI riverwalk, conrad, and DT down the street.

Exec lounge at the Drake had been closed even pre covid for "refurbish"

The only place that is still decent during Covid is the London House, but breakfast is now at the corner bakery
I haven't stayed there in a long time, last time was right after upgrades to suites were a diamond benefit. I got a couple upgrades to a corner spa room and when I stayed there last time after suite upgrades were a benefit booked a spa corner room and got upgraded to a huge spa corner suite that had a kitchen.

Do any chicago hiltons still have executive lounges if Drake is closed? Palmer house closed theirs last year (the front desk said it was so they could better serve their guests). Not sure how closing a lounge better serves your guests and they just did a remodel of the lounge a few years ago and I know Chicago Hilton's lounge closed before that (the lounge was awful there but liked Palmer Houses when it wasn't overcrowded). Weird they are closing lounges when the Hyatt on Wacker has a really nice lounge.

I've never stayed at London House but have stayed at the HGI that opened up a few years ago near there on Wacker and it is pretty nice. They gave out drink vouchers to the bar for diamonds which I've never had happen before at a HGI.
