I had great hopes years ago when he was named to the PHV from the Martinez, his management of the Milan property was superb and he was bringing his number 2 from Milan with him however it seems to have turn south. I know they had labor issues and a property that was in disrepair there is so much perfume one can spray in the hallways !!!! Not sure if you noticed but most of the fabled wait staff left. We had two stays after Claudia returned then went elsewhere. In the past we averaged two stays annually one Christmas and one in summer. If one wants the Opera area then the Marriott Opera is a great choice as is the Westin.
