Sorry, I got the platinum and diamond mixed up (what's next executive platinum titanium emerald diamond??? ). Sounds like a good deal, but your miles expire December 31 of the year after you earn points (could thus be after as little as 13 months). Also, they have quite a few fares that only earn 50% or 70%. Most fares on TG earn 100%.
What's burning miles on * awards like? i.e. how much for example from Japan to Europe? And how much are upgrades long-haul?
